Launching a new website
Many of you may have noticed a lack of posts here at The Sports 'Burger in the last couple of months or so. It's been awhile since we've done a Local College Roundup, an On Tap for the weekend, or even a Snooze Button.
I love baseball. That's why I cover the team for the site and hopefully my passion and knowledge for the game and the Senators comes through in the stuff I write. That being said, I have found it difficult to focus my energies on all the other sports that we cover or would like to cover here at TSB.
We are blessed to have other talented writers here covering the sports that I feel I'm not qualfied to discuss. I'd love even more contributors to pick up the proverbial slack, so if you're interested drop us a line. But the point of this now rambling message is to let you know that individually my focus has been on another project as of late.
If you follow us on Twitter or like us on Facebook, you may have noticed we've been linking a bunch of Senators-related stuff from a new website I launched called Mayflies & Big Flies. You might also recognize that as the heading we use under our umbrella of Senators coverage.
I realize that our readers at The Sports 'Burger are interested in more than just the Senators, but I've been very lucky to have been granted access to the team for the last two seasons and I needed an outlet to expand the coverage above and beyond what I post at TSB.
